    Anytime a company gets sold (as Surgeon was) there are ripples. New owners like to change things. Find a thread around here that shows what the top shooters use. Surgeon actions dominate. Wade was far, far from being the only guy using them in competition.

    OCW generates many "what should I do" questions. Enough that I see Mr Newberry offers for fee consulting to help with load development. I think I'd just spend the $$ and get his personal help. Its a buy once cry once deal. I don't use the OCW technique. But it has a LOT of fans.

    Lapua necks can be a real bear. Like the OP, I just can't get excited about neck turning. I only use lapua, but would dump it in a heartbeat if I had to turn all of the necks on 308 260 and 243AI loads. Your 308 loads are obviously too hot. I'm NOT convinced you have a neck thickness...

    "going to bring" means nothing in the firearms business Surgeons are good actions, I'm all set with 4 of them on rifles/projects. I have to say though, I wonder about their business savvy when they have these supply issues. It isn't a good way to do business.

    I couldn't get H1000 to shot BN coated DTACs at all in my 28" 7.5 twist. 4350 is the bomb in my rifle.

    I used to use it. When I switched computers I never got around to installing it again. No real need. And I've developed several loads for new calibers and not needed it.
