    Well kiss Antarctica goodbye……

The belief is that there is a greater realm outside of this well defined realm we live in. This would mean more land mass (masses) on the other side of Antarctica. Why are militaries of the realm we reside in preventing travel to or through antarctic? A thought; if we live on a globe, why...

What would cause these LMT enhanced carrier fractures?

Sounds like the seller needed a new BCG and perhaps a barrel replacement, so ...... damaged BCG goes to you in trade for your barrel?

Need a Solution to "I'll take it"

There needs to be an intermediary, a person handling the payment for a transaction, thus verification, before an item may be greenlighted for shipment. Or, a person handling the shipment before payment is released. But, this would require warehousing with a fee stipend.

BREAKING: TX/ABBOT JUST PUT FEDS ON NOTICE!!!!!

6', or 4 cubits, the distance explained in the Bible that a leper was made to maintain. This was not a random distance, demanded by our current overlords, but an intentional distance, identifying us as lepers.

    Split case with blown primer

I agree with your assessment. There is sufficient number of indicators here that this was caused by an overpressure event.

    1989 Remington 700 ABL

I have a '70s era ADL in 7rem mag. It is the most accurate rifle I have. The action is butter smooth. You might want to test it's accuracy before changing things. Be aware that it probably uses upward pressure at the foreend tip, which with my rifle, might be it's reason for good accuracy.

    Split case with blown primer

I asked for measurements. I have asked for photos. Neither has been forthcoming. It could be overpressure, it could be brass anomaly occuring in the primer tunnel, or area of the web, could be overpressure, it could be something allowing an out of battery event, or perhaps something else...

    Split case with blown primer

scd, How do you know they are the same diameter? And, have you noticed the apparent expansion of the case above the extractor groove?

    Split case with blown primer

scd, You seem to enjoy asking ME alot of questions. Allow me to ask you a question; What would cause a ruptured case at the web AND a blown primer at the same time?

    Split case with blown primer

I cannot claim that it is larger because of the angularity of the cases to camera. That is why I asked for a side by side photo, hopefully with the camera horizontal to the cases for good viewing.

OP, Would you stand those cases vertically, side by side, and provide a photo for us?

    Split case with blown primer

The blown case looks greater in diameter throughout. Have you taken any comparison measurements. Might just be an overload.

Let's talk about High pressure catridges. taking the 308 win to 62000psi (saami max)

Listen pilgrim, you are talking about swaging the bullet in the barrel to attain a higher BC. There is no free lunch here.

Let's talk about High pressure catridges. taking the 308 win to 62000psi (saami max)

I think some here are confusing bore dia. with groove dia. Normal 0.308" groove, 0.300" bore. Now then, a thinner land width might come into play with a smaller bore dia. for some imaginary (or real?) gain. The older 8x57 bore of 0.311" comes to mind.
