    Redding offered to inspect and replace the die. They said to send it with some fired brass. I just used a Facing stone and diamond paste and took off what I needed from a holder. Problem solved.

    Fuck the comparator - lol I cannot bump with the die bottomed out. That is foundation all else means nothing.

    The kit simply increases the the distance from the base of the case to where the die contacts. They start at standard size of .125 and INCREASE by .002”. Thus reducing the distance the case enters the die. I would need undersized holders.

    Invest in some rubber vice jaw covers with V grove and a large adjustable wrench. With heat it will come off easier than you expect. It has 75 ft/lbs of torque.

    As far as the barrel nut goes, use some heat. A small propane bottle will be a big help. Heat a little and keep it moving. Only heat the nut. I would think less than 30 seconds.

    Lets say that for ease of use the rifle is placed in what we will call upside down. If the area around the scope is clear and non load bearing then it really won't make a difference, since the rifle is supported 100% and not by the scope.
