Any Interest in Steyr SSG 69 Aluminum Trig. Guard

The color (gray or green) and the weight can be matched by McMillan. I much prefer the shape of the Mc. Anybody want to buy a factory stock, magazine and improved factory trigger guard?

Any Interest in Steyr SSG 69 Aluminum Trig. Guard My SSG69 PII came with no integral Picatinny rail. The one I added was from the Steyr US Importer and it was not true Picatinny spec. It also had no elevation built into it. They have not been available for some time. Should CDI produce...

Any Interest in Steyr SSG 69 Aluminum Trig. Guard I don't know what to say. Jeff and CDI went well above and beyond. I couldn't be more pleased with the end product. Top shelf.

    F T/R Competition 185s....

Lots of love here for the Juggernaut. What about the Hybrid? Anyone seeing/having success with it? Why one over the other?

No elevation built in. You'd need to go with a unimount like the Spuhr or USO with it built in there.

Official Accuracy International AT First Look

Official Accuracy International AT First Look All in good fun. We're all drawn to different things for different reasons. I'm a big Win M70 fan so the 3 pos safety (a true safety IMO) is one of the things that pushed me over the edge on an AE MkIII. I wouldn't spend the $$ on an AX but...

Sounds like you've never shot in wind nor at 600 very many times or you're simply the baddest man on the planet.

    Labradar doppler chronograph

As asked before as well, how will my slingshot or my spitwads trigger it? Joking aside, I'm excited. The images indicate it will give you a V @200yds in addition to muzzle and points in between. That's still unprecedented in consumer chronos.

That rail was ( don't know if it still is) available from Steyr USA. It is not true Pic spec. I've had to modify some rings to work with it. The recess on the side is too narrow. The "claws" on some rings need to be cut down to allow proper fit.

    Labradar doppler chronograph

Not sure how you know the sonic crack won't trigger. I can't speculate. If the mfg says so, that's different. Equations and programs already exist that will calculate actual bc based on velocities at different ranges. It may or may not measure velocities at longer ranges but if it does what...

    Labradar doppler chronograph

If it gives you velocity at the muzzle and velocity at 200yds, some significant BC data will be there. This thing should be pretty good.

Anyone else wish the Sako Quad action was threaded?

I assume a fired case... I haven't measured but can fired case dimension vary depending on the headspace from the chamber in which it was fired?

Anyone else wish the Sako Quad action was threaded?

Any suggestions on methodology for setting headspace? Mine shoots quite well but I still feel like I bungle my way through it. I put a fired case in place and snug things up basically.

    Expanding While Neck Sizing

Why .008" and not perhaps .004" so as to not work the brass so much? I'm just curious.

And for the die hard SSG guys that aren't familiar with the AI mags, there are smaller models/versions that will protrude only a small amount from the bottom as well as big uns like the one pictured.

Rifle Scopes Will switch barrel rifles begin to effect scope sales? Discuss.

Was doing this years before AI and DTA even existed. They didn't invent the term. A switchbarrel gun doesn't need headspace gauges as it's already set up for it's intended barrels. You're going to need to convince more than me. Switchbarrel set ups have been around a long time and are owned...
