    Hi, Any chance I could get into the match this Saturday? I thought I would be traveling but my trip got re-scheduled, so I can actually make it up there. I just shot the FSC match in Ellensburg last Saturday, and man do I have a long way to go in this sport. Shamir

    Looks like I am going to make this event as well. And I just bought my first pistol (a Springfield XDm 5.25) a couple of weeks ago, so it should be perfect for this match. Looking forward to it - should be a blast.

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Need a full size .40 S&W which one Springfield XDM.M&P or a Glock

    I went with the Springfield XDm 5.25. Its a bit more expensive (~$700), but it seems like the best option for an out of the box competition pistol. And comes with some nice accessories as well. Haven't picked it up yet, so I can't comment on shooting it yet.

    Could be that your scope tracking is off to. Have you box-tested or confirmed the scope's tracking in some other way?

    I'm pretty sure SWA mentioned that somewhere. The 260 ammo I have from SWA is headstamped SSA.

    Interesting. MSR style reticles look good too, although no Christmas tree options. Has anyone actually looked at a physical copy to check it out. Minox has a good reputation for price/performance with its glass, so these could give Vortex a run for its money if they are good. Shamir

    I don't reload, but I shoot southwest ammunition's .260 remington ammo, which is loaded with SSA brass. Shoots about 3/4 moa out of my Tikka T3 Sporter, with the occasional group approaching 1/2 moa . I'm a noob, and thats about the best I've ever shot :-). Shamir

    Welcome to the Tikka club :-). Which one did you end up getting? Also, KRG has a new light-weight chassis which is due to ship in April - might be a good upgrade to the standard tikka stocks.
