    Gunsmithing Headspace guages, easy question

    I should be able to use some 260 headspace guages to set the headspace on a 308 savage barrel correct? I see some manufacturers say you can and then some dont say at all. I was going to order some 308 guages, but i have a 260 set at home already. I think they are forster guages.

    This is only true on a bench with solid support to free up your support hand. Otherwise, its 100% false. Put it this way, if what you said was true, all right handed shooters would be shooting left handed guns.

    Some people use plastic wrap when the paint is wet. I'm sure there are other trick though.

    Harris ADM Mount

    Just a heads up because i was looking at the adm mount as well. The really right stuff pro mount works with both picatinny and arca rails. I don't have any arca rails, but no reason to limit yourself.
