Differences between the Mark 4 Leupold M3 and the Vari-X III M3?

Yes that's true too, but the 3.5-10x40mm M3 3/4 Mil Dot P/N 51850 don't use the tall target knobs, they came with four elevation caps for each cartridge/ammunition used, and only came in matte black. Plus the Multi Coat 4 lens coatings found on all VX III's. The Mark 4's are listed on the...

Made in Germany. Zeiss Diavari V 5-15x42 T* Z-plex. Bought new in January 2002, used very little. Mint condition except for the Tally scope ring marks at the 12 O'clock position. It was on a long action 280 AI for most of its life, then a short action .223 Rem for a few years, then sat in my...

Differences between the Mark 4 Leupold M3 and the Vari-X III M3?

Even in the M3 long range version? I remember the boxes that the mark 4's came in being huge, but I don't remember the weight of the two scopes being different........ But that was well over two decades ago.

Differences between the Mark 4 Leupold M3 and the Vari-X III M3?

I've seen and used the two models decades ago, but for the life of me I can't remember other than Mark 4's were in black boxes, blacked out gold ring, and the maybe a different P/N? I have a Vari-X III 3.5-10x40mm Long Range M3, Matte P/N 51850 with the 3/4 Mil Dot #030123 mounted in M4 Steel...

    Twist rates- Faster is better!

Ok, funny how time changes everything nowadays. I did convert my SAKO TRG-42 to 300NM using a Bartlein 1:8" twist ten years ago. Yes, I had a few rifle builders tell me they wouldn't be comfortable chambering a barrel with a 1:8" twist and felt a 1:9" at most, but that a 1:10" would be a...

    New Sierra 169gr SMK (.30)

I see the same problem with the bayonet attached on a few different guns. I hate seeing better groups with it on, then off.

SOLD Bushnell ERS Elite Tactical 3.5-21x50 GAP Reticle in APA Rings

I’m surprised this isn’t Sold. It has worked flawlessly for 10 years! In that timeframe I’ve had a Kahles 3-12x50 go down, a 7-35 NF go down twice, and lastly a 5-25 S&B PMII after a decade of use. That may not sound like much, but if I had to trust a single scope I’d pick this one every time!
