Shot a nice 5 point whitetail yesterday with my 6.5 PRC using 147 Match at 420 yards. Bullet turned his lungs into mush and stopped inside the hide trying to exit. Very happy with the rifle.
I’ve been a big Bushnell fan, but that is bullshit. There is someone here that is “connected” over there that might be able to help. Anyone remember who that is?
You’ve made up your mind, but I have to ask, how haven’t you seen “anything good about them”? This thread has lots of happy MPR owners. Myself included.
Yes MPRs can have issues, just like any rifle, but CA’s customer service is great.
What have you read and heard? Yes there are rifles with issues, just like any manufacturer, but CA’s customer service is great and they will make any issue you have right. And this is from first hand experience, not something I read or heard.
And there you go... Don’t let PVA’s ambiguity be mistaken or interpreted as an issue with a parts supplier.
It’s PVA’s issue.
And what PVA is doing is WRONG.
Honestly, best deal right now would be the APO Saber M700. They’re on sale for $700 for a 308 or $750 for 6.5 Creed:

Glad you had a good experience. But like you said your experience isn't necessarily anyone else's. The bottom line is if you support a business that lies and deceives their customers, you are accepting that behavior and telling the market it is "ok".
It’s been said before, people will spend money where they want. I get that.
But I believe turning a blind eye to wrong doing is... wrong.
What am I trying to accomplish? Persuade people to support shops that treat customers well, rather than supporting shops like PVA that pull this kind of...
It is really remarkable. Been talked about and desired for years and basically dismissed as not feasible. Then some Texans came along and just fucking got it done! Great time to be an AI fan.
I’m already doing this. But I’m shooting a 6.5 PRC suppressed 100% of the time and my neck appears to be “loose”. I’m having major carbon build up on the shoulder. So much that a factory round wasn’t headspacing/chambering without force. Ended up getting a round to chamber without too much force...
How are you all cleaning your chambers? I’ve never really paid much attention to them, just focusing on the bore and throats. But I have a barrel where the case neck isn’t sealing perfectly and fired cases have carbon on the neck and shoulder. So carbon is accumulating in the shoulder area.
