    That ammo is to hot for your setup. You could be over gassed and not have enough dwell time and an adjustable gas block could help. Try other ammo and check the brass.

    Bighorn TL3 barrel advice needed

    I had the same experience with and without a barrel nut. One rifle is an Impact action with a shouldered barrel and the other is a trued Remington with a bug nut barrel. Both are 6 dasher and accuracy is about the same.

    6.5x47 Lapua question

    26" will be good for it. Accurate and very easy to load for round. I had one and was shooting 140 hybrids at 2750 with great accuracy.

    Gradous rifles just built me a shouldered prefit barrel in 6.5 and it took a week. They were great to deal with and the barrel is a shooter.

    Upgrade my range finder

    I'm in the same boat and looking right now. I've been waiting to hear real world experience with the Nitro 1800. I have 2 of there scopes and like them a lot. At that price point if they work well I'm going that route.

    Impact or Archimedes

    I'm a recently switched to an Impact action and couldn't be happier. Got a dasher barrel from them and it shoots great. I had it in a KRG Bravo while I waited on a Manners and the mod was easy to do on that stock.

    Building a 223 precision AR...barrel?

    Very happy with my 20" CLE. It shoots lights out and likes just about any ammo I've put through it. I built my son a 20" upper with a BCM 20" SS barrel and it shoots very well and was a bit cheaper. It surprised me.

    I have a DIP and an Area 419 on different rifles. They both work well but I prefer the 419. It's rock solid and the built in 15moa help with the longer steel shoots. The built in level is nice also.

    I use the PMA Remington/Panda 6br bore guide in my Impact action and it fits perfect. Just choose the right caliber for your rifle.

    The biggest thing that helped me was investing in a good bag and shooting more. My first couple matches I had a borrowed bag but used a couple others from guys at the match. I liked the Gamechanger a lot and ended up with one.
