Talk me out of a 457 Varmint
I would go with what you like! I would try to mount the scope as low as possible and you should be okay. Worse case a cheek pad or riser. Wood stocks still look great to me!- Tcoddington

Talk me out of a 457 Varmint
I have a 455 and 457, both have been amazing rifles. The only thing I would consider changing is the stock, because with any good size scope the cheek weld issue can arise. Suppressors Cleaning cans
I would Check the manufactures website. I have used a sonic cleaner for my 22 cans and used CLR for my surefire cans. I try to use what is recommended.- Tcoddington
