Vudoo Gun Works V-22 Rimfire Bolt Action

Please don’t be me! Read the 104 pages in this thread. Ordered the Vudoo Barreled action. To avoid any excuses for feeding issues, I paid for the expensive Vudoo DBM. Instead of using any of the several DBM I have laying around. Vudoo came in! Grabbed my DBM cut stock, no, go. Vudoo...

    Whidden Gunworks

I have one. Way faster if your setting up for various rifles or removing the die often. If not, no big deal. Won't work on a Dillon, unless in single stage mode (solo kit). Quality is top notch as is with all my Whidden dies. It's really a matter of how much is your time worth. Rings for...

Rifle Scopes Steiner P4XI or Bushnell DMR II?

Reticle on the Steiner looks like it was designed with a crayon. Athlon has a similar one that caused me to sell it. Horizontal mil marks looks like a drunken wave. But parallax goes to 50. Turrets and powder ring felt great out of the box. Glass has that non filtered tint to it. So flat colors...

Rifle Scopes Sent my bushnell for warranty work and

Not excusing Bushnell in anyway. Just remember January through March is industry quarter. All companies are either prepping for, going to, or recovering from industry events. I’ve got a stack of, scopes, rings, rifles, and other accessories piling up from most all manufacturers. It’s like this...

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Glock 34 g4 competition upgrade ???

Dawson’s Precision is my preferred sight. They tolerate my odd ball size specs and never fail to deliver. For triggers, I went back to stock on all my Gen 4s. If it’s not reliable enough for EDC, why is reliable enough for competition? The best Glock after market trigger is only equal to the...

    Gunsmithing DFW machinist

Looking for a DFW area machinist. Main requirements are the ability to cut, thread, time muzzle devises, bolt knobs, and other quick turnaround jobs. Basic gunsmithing knowledge would be great but not required. Not looking for rifle builder, I have one. Just need someone closer to properly and...

    Wet vs. Dry Tumbling

I Use both, no effect on preformance that I can tell. I prefer the wet process and the cleaner and brighter brass. Dry works great, rice, corn cob, and walnut is cheap. Pick one and in a few years try the other.

Rifle Scopes Bushnell DMRII.....Will I Regret It? OR?

Currently own 03 HDMR2 scopes. I have or had most all out there (NF, Leupold, S&B, Vortex, Athlon, etc). For the money and my eyes, the Bushnell's are hard to beat. No, they are not an ATACR, PM2, or MK whatever Leupold, but they are also not the reason I miss. So I’ll save the money and buy...

More forgiving on seating depth: 75 eld-m or 80 smk?

.160 free bore match chamber 24” 1-7 twist could not find a load with the 75 ELDMs. 80.5 Berger’s stupid simple seating depth find. I actually found a seating depth tolerance of .005 and another .01 in the same powder charge. Accurate Mags with the front notched just a bit provides more than...

Fix It Sticks - kit worth it?

I have added so many specific limiters, extensions, and bits that the original case is long gone. I prefer the Fix It Sticks over other offerings available. Easy, repeatable, and almost impossible to mess up. Don’t care for the single adjustable limiter. Great for teaching newbies and...

How precise is the Ruger Precision Rimfire?

I’ve got 02 RP Rimfire rifles. Outstanding value for training. Staple in my classes due to low cost and versatility. No matter how much money and time you spend on them, they will never be a Clark’s Custom, Kidd, Volquartson, or Vudoo. I own one of each (Vudoo ETA end of month). For what it...

Dillon XL750 set up for PRS use

As stated above call UniqueTek. They will tell you every way to correct for precision ammo. You can correct the factory tool head in several diffent ways, or just buy Widdens tool head with the floating lock ring. For me, I found simple to be best. 01 Widden tool head with floating lock rings...

223 Hornady 75gr ELD Match: better than 175 SMK 308?!

Thanks, I’ll check my mags and see if they will feed at jam length. Modified Accurate Mags. If not I’ll load a few and single feed just to see. Really would like to get these to work. Just ordered 1,000 more Berger’s at $289. $200 for 1,000 ELDMs would be a great.

223 Hornady 75gr ELD Match: better than 175 SMK 308?!

On a Dillon 550 I take the Area 419 funnel, two drop tubes, and caliber specific collar and drop straight down the powder die hole in my billet Widden tool deals. Don’t need both drop tubs if your not leaving it in. I leave it in as it’s one less thing to move around.

223 Hornady 75gr ELD Match: better than 175 SMK 308?!

.180 free bore 24.4 Varget stacks 80.5 Berger’s in a way I won’t even bother explaining. I can’t believe it my self. Seriously, makes me think I’m better than I am. 75 ELDMs won’t group no matter what I do. One last try with them this weekend and. Would love to get these to shoot. Thoughts...
