    260 Rem in hunting applications?

    I believe Ruger uses 8 twist. Browning, use a marked cleaning rod to measure twist, browning has had misprints in past on websites, as others, but verify. Heard the 129 and 130s shoot fine in the 1885 Low Wall they made in 260 FWIW.

    Steve123, no doubt, but myself rather run factory 22-250 stamped cases - COW method (or ammo for that matter) than forming 6mm down, not a big issue. Just like stamped brass, and figure brass less expensive. If the 22 and 6mm CM ever were done in factory ammo/rifles and stamped brass for 22...

    I'd go #4 Bartlein or Light Palma, should be plenty "meaty" in 6mm, perhaps Frank can chime in.

    At 20" doubt you have any trouble with heat walking shots, but you could go to a Light Palma. Waffled on a 4 or LP for a 6.5 project and went LP.

    95 Ballistic Tip deadly on Deer, not so pelt destructive on yotes. 85/87 great place to be for yote loads, but if I run that for deer, I want a Barnes myself for what they offer.
