    Understood. I was stating what I did, not saying they were necessary modifications. On the contrary, while the battle ax stock looks ugly as hell, it feels pretty good.

    Shot a geissele SSA for highpower service rifle competition and now have a geissele SD-C. Love them both.

    Picked up a Troy Defense Carbine the other day for $1170 out the door. Love it so far. I did however replace the trigger, stock and grip straight out of the box.

    Filed an IC3 complaint. Switchblade thank you! And Jeo556 not a whole lot new besides this escapade. Treatment is sadly disappointing. Instead of people being responsible for their actions the military is adopting the "trophy for everyone" and "mass punishment" mentalities.

    They're worth it. While others may say they prefer other triggers (personal preference), you'll be hard pressed to find one more reliable. Love my SSA and SD-C

    Camelback ?'s

    Thermopak 3L is what I was issued at basic. So it may have been just used for a few weeks while someone was at basic and cleaned every night as we were required to. Soap and warm water if you plan on using it again shortly after or bleach and water for when you're going to store it.
