    i have a rem 700 with a 26" krieger barrel in 6.5 wsm (8.5 twist) i dont load it maxed out. 120 nosler bts @3150. it shoots 1/2 moa at first but opens up quickly after 10-12 rounds. not shooting it hot, the barrel is allowed to cool between shots. bought it used and round count is unknown. is...

    Re: Most impressive shot? shot a blackbird in flight at about 15 yards with my 1st handgun. it is a burgo model 66 22 revolver. best hunting shot was a running whitetail doe at the base of the skull at 150 yards with a sporterized 1895 mauser in 7x57.

    Re: Nosler Bal.Tip vs. Hornady A-max i have used the nosler 120g bt in my 6.5 wsm, was a bang flop at 150 yards. it was the only one i have shot with it so far but am confident it will be a repeat on the next one.
