Rifle Scopes Bushnell 1-6.5x24 Pro SMRS FDE Scope

I have two of the ET1626 models, which is like the newer ET71624 black model with lockable exposed turrets (the ET71624P is the FDE model with capped turrets). The main difference is that the ET1626 has the BTR-2 reticle and the ET71624 has the CQ BDC reticle. I love them and the glass is very...

Rifle Scopes Swampfox optics, any good?

Koshkin previously said this is a house brand of a major Chinese manufacturer that was set up for the US. Although he didn't say which, I assume it's Optisan. It seems to me it's named after Francis Marion (aka "the Swamp Fox"), the Revolutionary War hero that is considered one of the fathers...

Rifle Scopes Is this the new budget scope to beat? SWFA is on notice!

I was under the impression these are closeout prices. Also, Bushnell changed their warranty when they released the Prime/Nitro/Forge scopes. Their former "No Questions Asked" warranty was essentially like Vortex's. For Bushnell scopes made after April 2017, their current "Ironclad" warranty...

Rifle Scopes Looking for a scope, but don’t know what

Mil/Mil LPVO under $1500? Vortex Razor 1-6x Gen 2-E is at the top of your budget. If you want to save money, get the Mil/Mil 1-6x PST Gen 2 1-6x. Most LPVO optics sadly don't have a Mil/Mil option. That said, on an 18" AR used consistently to reach out to 600, I'd have to agree with Thorbeast...

Rifle Scopes Burris RT-6 Kit, mount and all??

Just weighed mine with the throw lever...exactly 18 ounces. You sure you are talking about a Burris?

Rifle Scopes Burris RT-6 Kit, mount and all??

The RT-6 is 17.4 ounces. Hardly heavy for an LPVO.

Rifle Scopes Vortex strike eagle 5-25 ffp

So it just occurred to me that 47 moa is equal to only 14 mils. I'm not sure how Vortex is coming up with 47 moa and 18 mrad, but if those numbers are correct, the only explanation I can fathom is that the mrad version maintains more adjustment when using the zero stop. But that doesn't make...

Rifle Scopes Vortex strike eagle 5-25 ffp

If you use the Zero Stop, the elevation adjustment available drops to 47 MOA/ 18 Mil. Man, I don't know. With the huge loss of elevation adjustment if you use the zero stop, I'd be hard pressed to consider using this Strike Eagle on anything other than a rimfire.

Rifle Scopes Who has switched from red dot to 1x prism?

It's really not bad at all, especially with both eyes open. It isn't as easy to get behind as the Spitfire 1X, but when you are in the gun it comes right up. You certainly notice that you are looking down a small tube if you try to "one eye" it, but with both eyes open it blends in pretty much...

Rifle Scopes Who has switched from red dot to 1x prism?

I have four ARs with 1X Prism optics. Two Vortex Spitfires (V1) and now two Bushnell Lil P's. I am really impressed with the Lil' P and it's 4.4oz weight. I thought the small 11mm objective would be a problem, but it isn't. I bought both of mine from Natchez...

Rifle Scopes 34mm Mount for AR10?

Not sure if you mean extended height or length. Due to the length of AR10 uppers, they don't typically require a cantilever mount. I use an ADM AD-RECON-S 20 MOA on my Aero M5: https://www.americandefensemanufacturing.com/view/product/790/ . The 34mm version has a 1.55" from top of rail to...

Rifle Scopes Who makes this Cabelas Scope?

Something isn't right here. His profile say he joined July 3, 2018 and that he waited to make this his first post on SH. I could've sworn I've seen this exact writing style on the forum a few weeks ago.

    Rifle Scopes Nikon Black FX1000

That works for me since I could always use any one of those three other optics. But on an academic level Nikon needs to be careful. They will try to push a "credit" and people will take it, but the warranty provides for, at Nikon's option, repair, replacement, or "refund the purchase price...

Rifle Scopes Any 4x scope focusing to 10 m?

Springer and gas-ram airguns are definitely harder on scopes, but most modern quality riflescopes from top manufacturers (the kind generally talked about on Snipershide) should generally be fine on them. Plenty of guys use Leupold scopes on their springers.

    Rifle Scopes Nikon Black FX1000

Well, a warranty is a contract, so Nikon can't generally refuse to honor it. If a company sells you a product under the condition that a warranty applies, they generally can't unilaterally alter the terms for products already sold (there are exceptions in cases where a company files for...

Rifle Scopes Any 4x scope focusing to 10 m?

Call Leupold and see if they can reset the parallax on one of their scopes that max at 4x to 10m (VX-R 1.25-4x20, Mark AR 1.5-4x20, VX-Freedom 1.5-4x20, VX-Freedom Scout 1.5-4x28, FX-I 4x28, FX-II 4x28, FX-II 4x33). Midway has some on sale right now too. I had Leupold reset parallax to 50 yards...
