I am on the Impact. I’ve had enough of them to measure to feel comfortable that it can be done and it’ll be right. It’s definitely a personal preference for gunsmiths.- pangelos

Ultimatum, America Rifle Company are ones that take savage prefits with a barrel nut. Impact actions have great tolerances for buying prechambered barrels for. Supposedly the Defiance tenacity does as well but I’m not for sure. Also Curtis actions- pangelos

This is great news! I personally own 3 of them and really like them. To be quite honest the price point to the features make them well worth the cost. You can adjust the mag latch instead of grinding/welding on them to get them adjusted, adjust the mag well length to fit your mags better. All...- pangelos

Gunsmithing Prefit barrel measuring
I started messing around last night on chambering up prefit barrels for Impact/Vector actions and when it came to measuring the headspace off the shoulder using my depth mic it was kinda a pain getting an accurate measurment (trying to hold the go gauge square to the bore and hold the depth mic)...- pangelos
