Best price on left handed Bergara B14R Steel?

That's about $200 less than I paid for mine roughly 18 months ago. I was shopping for a T1X lefty for over a year before I stumbled upon my B14R. At $1250 (with 3 mags and tax), I know that I overpaid, but I'm very happy with my Bergara. At $950, you're looking at a pretty decent deal from...

EC Barrel tuner on Bergara B14R

I added a Harrell AR15 tuner to my B14R a few months ago. I chose the AR15 version because it was only $100 and it was a direct thread instead of clamp style. I didn't do any scientific method with math and measurements and such--just shot a few groups, dialed some and shot a few more...

    Indian or Harley

Electronics, switches, wiring harnesses, engine sensors, headlight housings, fenders, fuel pumps, saddle bags. I 100% agree that Indian makes a great cycle and most are priced better than Harley....but there aren't nearly as many on the road and as parts change, old stock dries up.....and...

    Indian or Harley

I don't particularly care for the Indian's fenders. Otherwise, they're very nice bikes, but I suspect that you'll eventually run into the same problems as owning a Suzuki or Daihatsu car---not much of an aftermarket, and no place to get parts except a dealership. I'll stick with my Harleys.

    Maggie’s Man's Best Friend Thread

My best friend for the past 14 years passed away in his sleep last night. 14 years wasn't long enough. Hades helped me keep my shit together during the divorce. He was always there for me when I came home from a bad day at work. He liked to lay on my office floor and watch me while I work...

    A surprise in every box?

I've got 5 boxes of Eley Match left from a brick--this stuff patterns like a shotgun--3+ inches at 50 yards and at 100 yards it's almost a foot. This is in both a B14R and a built 10/22. (Lot# 1020-05076) Federal Champion shoots better. I need to shoot it because every time I look at it and...

    Bergara B14R questions

I'm running a Timney 'The Hit' trigger on my B14R. You will have to pull the bolt release, but that's just popping off a c-clip or 2, removing the lever and reinstalling the c-clip(s). Takes about a minute--I did mine about a year ago and I don't remember the exact procedure, but it was easy...

Does Anyone Here Anneal Their .300 BO Brass?

@spife7980 Good idea--I don't know why I never thought about that. I'm not a big volume shooter with .300Blk, and whenever I get below ~250, I just convert more.

Does Anyone Here Anneal Their .300 BO Brass?

I anneal, but I convert all of my own from LC brass--I have a virtually unlimited supply of once fired LC from my club after the local SWAT guys finish their training. The annealing makes sizing much more consistent. I don't think I've gotten more than 3 loads on a piece of brass yet--my .300...

    Bergara b-14r pic thread

Excellent! Thanks for the information--KRG Bravo (left hand) is getting ordered now! I've got a Bravo on a 10/22 and I like it a lot.....looking forward to trying it out on the B14R

    Harrel rimfire tuner dimensions

This is the one I have: https://harrellsprec.com/index.php/products/ar15-tuner-brake Total length of the tuner is 2.350". While I was dialing mine in the first time, I saw a measurable decrease in group size. With SK Standard Plus and no muzzle device, my rifle averages about .250" groups...

    Bergara b-14r pic thread

How is the KRG Bravo working for you? I've been looking at them but the disclaimer that they don't guarantee the magazines will work with B14R has kept me from buying one

    Harrel rimfire tuner dimensions

Sorry, but I don't have the answers you're looking for. Harrel makes a few different versions. I'm running a Harrel's AR15 tuner on my B14R and the length doesn't change. The weights are threaded to the outside of the tube. On the AR15 version, you loosen a jam nut (which is half of the...

    Ec tuner brake on rimfire

@6.5SH I'm running the same tuner and you ain't kidding! That thing gets loaded with carbon/lead pretty quick. It's a PITA to clean, but my results have been stellar

    2-10 scopes in FFP

Kind of a thread resurrection going on here--before yesterday the last reply was Oct 2021. But to jump on the bandwagon, I'm using a 3-12 USO TS-12X that I picked up (slightly used) for $350. OpticsPlanet has them for around $600. FFP, Christmas tree ret, not illuminated. Easy to zero and...

Shooting Squirrels in the Head at 100 Feet Offhand...Fantasy or Reality?

I haven't hunted squirrels in decades, but with a simple, unmodified 10/22 and decent ammo, 100' headshots are possible--I'm not good enough to pull them off consistently without a rest, so I'd lean on a tree or use my backpack if possible. I'd take body shots instead of headshots if I didn't...

    Maggie’s SH Motorcycle Thread

I've been looking for a big bagger for awhile now--I love my Springer, but she's just not the right bike for multi-state, 600+ miles/day trips. I'm keeping my Springer, but I just added a 2007 Road King to the stable. At slow speeds, she's a big heavy pig, but at freeway speeds she's a...

    Waltz Die

Seems like everyone has different results---more proof that precision rimfire is a fickle mistress! I've had a Waltz die for awhile. I haven't messed around making hollow points, but I have tried making Federal and Blazer bulk stuff more accurate. They sure do 'look' like Eley after a run...

Yes, it works with a Lee press, or any press with standard threads and shell holders
