    For a solid work horse without any fanciness. Sons Of Liberty Gunworks Patrol-SL series. Add an Aimpoint Duty RDS and light kit. It uses a magpie fore end so you'll need the scout light mount kit.

    Honestly between an AE and a TRG 22 I'd go TRG. Aftermarket parts and mags for the TRG are more plentiful. I love AI's, have an AW and AX. But I never considered an AE a real competitor in the serious rifle game.

    Yeah I'm digging that to. I'd dig a Geissele SSA-E in it. Where to find an AR-10 barrel without a gas port might be a challenge.
