    Well, youd know how much you're actually jamming a bullet. But I understand, time spent not finding the actual distance to the lands can be used to argue and judge random strangers online who dont agree with you. Good decision (y)

    The number you measure may not be arbitrary, but the amount you're jamming that into the lands to get that number is unkown.

    In my quest to troubleshoot my imprecise barrel, looking for some loads w/ Varget and 95gr SMKs to test. Sierra reccomends a .010-.020 jump, and seems like most loads I find are as low as 29.5 and high as 31.6gr w/ most in that +/- .5gr of 31.0. Anyone have contrary experiences? Just trying to...

    Im not really a competition shooter, but I am in the market for a quality hunting can - meaning short basically. Weight isnt as much of factor as footprint and precision. Need just enough suppression to tame the crack. Does the maverick fit the bill for that job, or better off looking...

    Looking to refine my hunting setup to add an option for a 3-way adjustable buttpad. What are some of the lightest options? Only requirements are: vertical grip and thumb shelf. Otherwise no preference b/w stock or chassis, no brand loyalty, etc

    You won't. That's not feasible, I doubt it's possible, and most importantly - it's not needed. If you keep your SD below 10 you're doing just fine.

    ...and? You have absolutely no context on my prep process, the mfg of the brass, how hard or soft ive pushed it through those firings - hell, you dont even know what cartridge it is. Just a classic case of someone getting out of their lane.

    For anyone following along, the old processed brass mixed extremely well with the newly processed. No difference in velocity nor poi.

    As with everything, the return on dollar is fairly linear for a good while, but at the top, it really starts to flatten. The items you're looking at are definitely well past the "most value" point. FWIW.

    Theres just something so satisfying about someone insulting others' intelligence while simultaneously displaying their lack of something as basic as elementary school sentence structure.

    Because many of them shoot very well, and its combination of jealousy and anger from those who spent 3-10x as much money for similar performance. Theres not a lot of objectivity in this hobby.
