unfortunately tooling isnt as cheap nor quick as restaurant supply, and it was only a few years ago LMT was blowing out uppers because they were overstocked. The Trump Slump taught a lot of MFGs not to reactionarily overextended their plans by too much.
I cant speak to any machine other than the AMP, but it cannot be better, quicker, & easier than AMP. No idea if its worth the price, but if youre going to anneal, cant go wrong w/ AMP
Since when is it wrong for consumers to hold dealers accountable? I'm a bigger ARC fanboy than anyone else here and will continue to tell anyone who listens their products are as good as they get, but 3+ months, with no indication that would be the case at time of purchase is a bit ridiculous...
this is just another iteration of "which way is best" that inevitably devolves into a pissing match between guys who both have more than sufficient processes that work for them.
Really the best advice is find a shooter you like and do what they do, there isnt a single right answer. Personally...
