    Maybe wide open spaces, but thick timber/Midwest hunting you run into anything from prone to kneeling off sticks, sitting shooting off your knee, on tree branches sitting, standing, off fence posts/gates, tree stands, box blinds, etc.

    Ive spoken with Ted in person more than 90% of the people here. Im very aware of his mfg processes, thoughts, etc.

    Grayboe also has a couple decent, more stock-ish options if you're not keen on spending $1500+. I think the Trek or Trekkor is like 23oz and the Phoenix (which looks more configurable) is like 32oz.

    Wrong about your assertion that your airsoft rings "fit better" than the NF. Not sure how many times it needs said not from how many you need to hear it from, but rings either fit on a pic rail or they don't. There's not a spectrum of "fit".

    Ehh...not so much an indictment on you personally. More of a commentary on the group as a whole and the proclivity to propegate misinformation as absolute fact despite very little or no experience and/or knowledge on the subject at hand.
