    Short Barreled Short Action Magnum?

    I shoot a 22" 7rasum. 120 TSX with 4350 works great. R22 and 162 amax also do well, at 2950, but most of my hunting is at closer ranges, so I opt for the 120's.

    Preferred Sizing dies for 6.5 CM

    What's everyone using for a FL sizing die. I've used Redding Type S FL bushing dies for other cartridges, but I'm curious what the concensus is for the creed. I havn't decided on brass yet, but I could totally see myself grabbing a bunch of 1F Prime and living happily ever after.

    choosing a brake

    I’ve got a 6.5 CM barrelled action coming, but the seller is keeping the brake. What do I need to consider when choosing a brake for PRS style shooting? Seems like Ryan Pierce, Area 419 and Insite seem to be the top of the heap, but coming from FTR and hunting, this is all new to me.

    I found a stash of 75 virgin Rem .300 cases on a shelf in my shop, so I spent last night sizing and turning. I'll load it up and run some seating tests, and monitor speeds. I did run some patchout through it, and even let it sit overnight. Got very little out.

    I think it's just a matter of virgin cases, and a new, short-ish barrel. I snuck off to the range at lunchtime and ran a ladder with R26. Ejector markes started at 58.5. 59gr. got 2878. Only 27 rounds down the tube, so I think it's time to load a bunch up and just shoot it until the barrel...

    Only had time to run the H1000 ladder. 61.5 gr only got me 2800. To be fair, my H1000 is 10yrs old, but I was surprised at how slow the load was! Will try some R26 next.

    Have a new 6.5 4S. 0.296 neck, 0.081 freebore, 22" 1-8.8 brux. Starting with Rem .300 cases. Plan on starting at 54g R26, and 58g h1000, with 140 amax seated 0.015 off to sart.
