    Anybody road bike?

Are you referring to the road or gravel versions of Iron Horse? I've done the triple and double bypass several times. It's a casual ride, but great way to see some of Co.

    Anybody road bike?

Riding a cyclocross with 60mm enve's is a little ridiculous for gravel grinding; the price was right. i would never recommend the wheels for a Kansas cross wind (bc's are muy malo) but they are tuff as nails.

    Anybody road bike?

Great to read this thread. Some of you are the real deal. I've slugged along as a two time finisher of the Dirty Kanza on this rough tric(pic). Definitely got the gravel bug. I would hate to try to hold some of your wheels for long.

Gunsmithing What action wrench for a Tikka T3 barrel swap?

If you can fashion something like this, the action gives you plenty to bite into and save the barrel.

Gunsmithing AXMC barrel smiths...300 prc problem

I think it is important to recall that headspace gauges can vary between manufacturers, so the smith is not necessarily to blame. A person could gently point out that the rounds did chamber and safely fire. Nevertheless, it does not fall to the man paying the bills to know what the man doing...

Rifle Scopes 2000 Yards Build in Progress.

Get the ZCO and put the 1k you will save on the TT toward another barrel and reloading. 5-27 has been absolutely stellar beyond a mile. Moreover, you won't find anyone more helpful than Jeff Huber.

Gunsmithing AXMC barrel smiths...300 prc problem

It looks tight on the shoulder., but from the pic I don't think it's conclusive. The neck mark is likely just feed ramp contact under the pressure of the ejector, not an issue (cf AIAW's comment) You could unscrew your barrel a 1/4 turn or less and then try to chamber. If there is no camming...

Gunsmithing AXMC barrel smiths...300 prc problem

Note the Sharpie mark. When the shoulder is marked, chamber and look for places where the ink is removed (witness marks). You may have to do more than the shoulder, but I would start there

Gunsmithing AXMC barrel smiths...300 prc problem

Color up a tight fitting piece of brass (Sharpie), close the bolt on it and then look for the witness mark on the brass after extraction. This could tell you if it is minimum headspaced and you are just dealing with wide variances in hornady brass. If you are using factory loads , color the...

    Ruger Closing on No-Go

Between JGS, Manson and PTG, and others I suspect, it is not difficult to find .002 diffierence in comparing their respective No-Go gauges as well as Go. It's possible to chamber at Go plus .008 with PTG and be +- .004 past a Manson No-Go for example. Closing on a field gauge would make be...

    7saum and 180eldm

We put together a "couple few" 7-300wm with 9tr, and run the 180eld-m. on two of them. I originally purchased Bartleins 8tr for the builds, but after interweb "research" added doubt and second guesses, switched to Brux 9tr. Two worrisome possibilities with 8tr ( and anything faster): (1) too...

    Tikka T3 Thread

I'm not sure what is working for everyone, but this wrench has solved the sticky factory barrel removal issue. It has been a much better solution than putting the action in a vice or using a Remington wrench because it provides purchase on the action's sides and top. I'm looking forward to...
