    Are the lugs just outside the ejection port ? Looking at the distance from the lugs to the start of the flutes the lug must pass just in front of the opening ?

    I went ahead and ordered one with the monitor after dealing with the small cord disconnecting all the time . It works way better the cord is supported much better.

    Threaded this TC 223 barrel for a customer a couple years ago been smoking chucks ever since . The barrel steel is strange hard to get a nice thread on seems to tear not cut .

    This type of vise jaw works good easier to clamp just hold the rifle in one hand and tighten the vise with the other . This This puts the stock lower and closer to the vise pad .

    I bought one of the heavy cast iron grinder stands and mounted a six inch vise on it . Find some good grade ply wood and cut some soft jaws this is what I did for stock work . With a dolly it can go anywhere even outside and doesnt take up bench space .

    On a side note who sells ring gauges to check the go/nogo gauges ? We just had an issue with rented 17 fireball gauges the reamer print give the case size with a certain ring gauge .

    Check the brake ID size I had a guy wanting a .556 brake opened up for a .243 and the hole was already large enough for that caliber . I think the brakes for suppressors are purposely drilled large for variances in factory threading.
