    Feedback on new 700s

    We disassemble many to be rebarreled in other calibers and the action machining is nice with good extraction . The customers that bought the 223 with eight twist from us say they shoot well but have to invest in a better trigger and stock at some point.

    Nice action can’t really find any issues other than if you hold up on the bolt handle while cycling it seems do drag a little . The bolt may be dragging on the bolt stop but I really haven’t had time to really shoot it much . It looks so much cleaner without the barrel nut .

    If your having one done make sure the old chamber is completely gone . I had a customer with a six creedmoor that was blowing the shoulder out because some of the 243 chamber was left behind . Had to move everything ahead two more threads and it still shoots great and no funky shoulder .
