    Gunsmithing what do you use to tighten barrel

    does the wheeler engineering action wrench have a slot to line up the badger recoil lug while tightening the barrel to the action? what do you guys use to line it up. was going to get a badger alignment fixture, but they are on backorder. does the wheeler work?

    Re: what about a S&W 3913? might be fine for just carrying, but if you are just going to shoot it for fun, forget the DAO. shot a sigma 40 one time. boy, it wasn't fun at all. that long stroke is tough on the old trigger finger after a few mags....

    Re: Anybody make their own blades? d2 and a2 have to be sent out for heat treating go buy some 01 oil quenching tool steel. you can get it a lot of places. build a grinder, too. it makes life easier...

    Re: Why are suppressors so expensive? go buy a lathe, and a couple hundred dollars of round stock, and make all the suppressors you want. just comply with the ATF regulations, and pay the $200 tax. not really too much to it...
