    I live in macon, ga. and am looking for a gunsmith to fit and chamber a barrel blank to a rem 700. would prefer macon, warner-robins, but would go to atlanta if need be. only other option is to ship it out, which i w2ould rather not do. thanks

    Re: older Leupold M1 Ultra its on a pss that i just put in a mcmillan a4 with a badger m5 dbm. hope to take it to the range in the next couple of weeks and give it a try. have only put about 40 rounds downrange with it, and just put the new stock on it.

    i picked up an ultra 16x M1 sn. 84 0054 for about $450 a few years ago. i know that everybody here hate Leupold stuff, but back in the day, was this any good? who would have used it and was it built in 1984? let the flaming begin....

    Re: picture of the latch on a badger m5 dbm??? i was told it was inletted by GAP and is in a mcmillan A4. the housing sits a little below flush with the stock.

    Re: picture of the latch on a badger m5 dbm??? i was hoping for a picture of just the latch that is not installed in the housing. it doesn't seem like it is sitting high enough in the action, the mag has about 1/4 of an inch up and down play after it goes past the latch. not sure if that...

    does anybody have a picture of a latch that isn't installed? the mag isn't sitting high enough in the action to pick off the last 2 rounds. it slides over them. i think the latch may have been shortened. i got it second hand, so not sure. i have a new latch coming from badger, but it hasn't...
