Washington state monthly matches at Upper Nisqually Sportsman's Club

Yeah - I'd prefer to forget my performance as well. Best part of the day was the drinks at Brunos afterwards. At least my Bloody Mary wouldn't freeze with all the vodka in it. Perhaps this could be the start of a post match tradition. I knew it was cold when my drinking water started to...

Excellent question because I was orignally drawn to that group. Dan said that since it is almost 3% below my scatter node at 43.8, I could be very close to a scatter node similar to the group at 44.1gr. 3% below 43.8 is 43.5. To confirm his theory I'm going to work up some loads at 43.5 and...

Hi Unknown, It was a simple barrel swap on my AI Arctic Warfare. I got an AI barrel so it looks just like my .308. It is slightly heavier by a few ounces due to the reduced bore size. I've only put 60 rounds down the barrel, but so far I'm liking it. Much less recoil than my .308 shooting...

I'd be interested to see what I would get with a ladder test at that distance.

From what Dan explained to me, the seating depth variations are to adjust group size. To your point, it is not my objective to adjust velocity through seating depth. The 43.2 gr load of H4350 averages 2802 fps. My chrono setup is a CED Millenium II at 15 feet from the muzzle. I was shootng...

.260 Remington OCW test All, Thanks to everybody who responded to my earlier request for .260 Rem load data. I decided to do some OCW testing at 200 yards and here are the results I came up with. Thanks to Flashfire who dutifully captured my chronograph output as I shot my groups. I...

Current AI production of left handed rifles

I purchased a LH Arctic Warefare in .308 about 6 months ago from Mile High. I love it. I am now in the process of installing a .260 barrel. Word of advice: I purchased the Wheeler barrel vice and it doesn't work very well. I am looking to get something else - perhaps the barrel vice...

Folks, Just got back from India. Every time I come back to the U.S. I thank God that I live here. We are so fortunate in so many ways. Wish I could give all the America haters a one way ticket to select destinations around the world. Also came back to my backordered H4350 so I can get...

Need Help with Caliber Choice, .260?

I am currently shooting .308 and as many have said it's a terrific round to learn on. Meanwhile, I have a .260 barrel ready to screw on my AI Arctic Warfare as soon as I can find some H4350. While Lapua now makes .260 brass, you can always neck down .308 in a pinch. I've been told that I...

    Alternative for varget for 308 / 223

I ran out of Varget and worked up some H4895 with my 175 SMK. I was surprised how well they shot. 40.8gr gives me just over 2600 FPS out of a 26" Bartlein with supressor. Lapua brass, CCI 200 or BR2 primers.
