    It's not bad. Some of the guys that I shoot with normally post scores 20-30 points down with those types of riggs at 1000.

    Any new updates on the CFE .223 powder? I'm thinking of loading it in my .223 Bolt gun and my .308 Bolt gun.

    Savage Bolt Improvement

    You could buy a lift kit or make your own and install it. Take some of the radius off of the cocking ramp. Cutting the firing pin would be the last thing that I'd do, just because thats me. None of my Savages have been messed with, some smother then others. My Tac rifle and my single shot model...

    Which powder for 20" barrel

    From what I've read here and elsewhere CFE is giving good speed. I bought 8# back in June, it is still unopened. I've got a .308 barrel waiting to be screwed on and shot. This will be time for some testing.

    PTG bottom metal for Savage

    I wonder if these will fit were CDI milled the stock for his bottom metal? I like the looks of Dave's metal, and sure and it is all said and done he will have then for all the screw spacing. Too much money left on the table if he doesn't, there is alot of 4.27 actions out there.

    178 gr Amax for hunting??

    I've killed many Deer with various calibers using the Amax. Most DRT and a couple went nomre then 25 yards. By brother and his buddy that I load ammo for using the 105 Amax in .243's, DRT. Too many to count...

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Tanfoglio pistol?

    I have the ported .40 Witness which is my favorite carry gun. I had a .45 Witness but sold it. The EAA's are a very affordable well shooting and handleing handgun.
