    Night Vision Identifying Russian Tubes

Go to EKRONFEP Gen3 Image Intesifiers then select the appropriate image intensifier series, in your case select EPM 222G-10-11. This should get you the technical drawings and performance specifications for your tube (ЭПМ 222Г-10-11А/EPM 222G-10-11А), if that's what your after.

Night Vision Mission Impossible - Someone figure out how to mount a PAS23

The dovetail plate on the NIVISYS MUM-14 is what you want as it is perfect replacement for the OEM 1/4x20 plate. I scavenged the dovetail on the unused side of my MUM-14 for this, though I'd imagine you could get one directly from NIVISYS FWIW: The OEM plate does have a dab of adhesive so...

Night Vision Night Vision in Europe - which of the following Photonis tubes should I choose?

That's a tough call as both tubes are within 10 - 15% of the performance maximums. If you plan on duals I strike out the XX3040GG as the image alignment is out the greatest and may pose problems when trying to collimate with another tube. On the other hand, image alignment aside that tube on...

    Night Vision NV Mount Issue

Well Furious George, looks like you may want to consider putting the Norotos II out of the equation and just buy the proprietary armasight #4 mount. Since it looks like your working with the Armasight NYX-7 your probably better off going with the mounts for that system. As is the case with most...

    Night Vision NV Mount Issue

Hmm, sounds like the mounting plate need to be tilted forward. Not sure if you have it bolted down or are using the strap assembly with the edge catches. In any case fashion a spacer to tilt the top of the plate forward which in turn will pivot the eyepiece end toward your eyes.

Night Vision FLIR M18 Battery Question

My M18, when completely powered off, had current drain, enough that it would deplete a set of batteries unnervingly quickly. This is pretty common with digital devices, even my MTM had it though not as bad as the M18. Hell, an Insight flashlight of mine has it so bad it just sits now, great...

Night Vision FLIR M18 Battery Question

Mine burned through batteries as well, run times of under 2 hours when continuously powered on and on lowest brightness setting. The unit also needs an alternate heat sink, the lens just didn't cut it, ran way hot on the core side. I bought bulk (100 count case) Rayovac's from botach. My M18...

Night Vision green vs white phosphor...

White Phosphor Image Intensifiers The traditional green phosphors tend to enhance the etherial experience of image intensifiers, at least that's my personal take, and putting all other performance aspects aside. I'm very keen to acquire an L3 CHROME, ITT White Phosphor tube and possibly a...
