    If you can find some, try RL-25. With a 30" tube, I'm getting 2951 with 91gr under a 300gr SMK.

    Look at the Hornady L-n-L single stage. I use it for 338LM without any problem.

    My experience: AA1680 worked well in my 300BLK gas gun, but not so well in my bolt gun.

    Run your IOR for right now, and build your $1200 up until you can afford the scope you really need to shoot out to 1500. I use/love the ATACR on my 338!!!

    Check with people you may be shooting with and see what they run. You should go with that so everybody is speaking apples to apples. There are about 6-8 of us in a group that shoot together often and we just happen to all use MOA.

    Neck Tension - adjust it when?

    Once you develop your load, you can play with neck tension to try to tighten up your group, but mostly to lower you SD/ES.

    For those who have tested it, have you seen a difference in MV shooting with a suppressor, compared to shooting without it? I understand the POI change, so am just interested in feedback on any noticeable MV changes. Thanks ahead for info. Jim

    With my 338LM I had a significant drop in group size when I switched from Fed 215's to CCI 250's. I have never used Win primers, but my point is that it's worth doing some testing with your gun.

    I have had great luck with AA1680 in my gas 300blk. Bolt gun seems to like H4198.

    I run 91gr of RL-25 with 300smk's at 2951fps. Great powder for this cartridge!!!
