    These are my buddy’s skillets. The #8 is an unmarked Wagner and the #9 is a newer Griswold that was made after Wagner bought out Griswold. He took all the seasoning off to start over. I love the swirl marks from the original machining process at the foundry.

    My mother in law has induction and she’s one hell of a cook. According to her it’s the closest thing to cooking with gas as far as heat range and adjustability. Also the induction tops cool much faster than an electric top.

    I love old cast iron. The 1920s-30s Griswolds are my favorite. Large block logo with heat rings. Here is my #9 with home made sausage gravy then cleaned up with the lid.

    Whiskey - I’m guessing the sun was high and behind me as I was shooting pretty much due north and it was 2 in the afternoon but there was complete cloud cover. Didn’t actually see the sun at all that day.

    A little more info on my end. Cabelas Covenant 6-24x50 ffp shooting on 18-20 power. Environmentals: 45 degrees. Overcast/full cloud cover. High humidity, 79 percent when I arrived and light drizzle when I left. 1300’ elevation. Pressure was 29.91”.

    Fact of the matter is @Hookturnr, my garage is in no comparison to a shop, large or small. I can do shit but the “shop guys” are capable of much more than I can offer. Some of those dudes are true artists and craftsmen as I’m sure you know.
