    The Minnetonka Game and Fish northeast of Elk River? Think they have a wait list and you have to know someone. But they had a 300yd range that was open on Saturdays in the winter. Mainly Highpower(?) guys shooting but was in a heated house at electronic targets, pretty sweet when its 5 below!

    Who all runs the ARC Nucleus action?

    I have an earlier edition Nucleus in 6.5CM. It had the light strike issue and binding on bolt close (pretty sure that is what it was) I sent in to get fixed and haven't had any problems since. Have a few hundred rounds through it. It took my dumbass a while to figure out the bolt stop/release...

    What did you do in the reloading room today?

    I just did the same thing to my lyman decapper last week. I first assumed it was an undersized flash hole as the pin in my Redding FL Neck die got caught in a couple pieces of the same batch afterwards. Good news is Lyman is sending me a new insert.

    Recent reviews on Nucleus actions that don’t include wait times.

    I received mine late last year. Had a couple light strikes and the hang ups on bolt close. Sent the bolt in to ARC, they replaced the head and installed the 25# spring and had returned in days. Still have the hang ups but no misfires. Only about 200rnds though.

    Add me to the list of misfires. At the range now and rounds 6-10 went pew. 3 out of 5 on rnds 11-15 misfired. [Edit: Rnds 16-20 fired. I re-chambered the 3 duds and 2 went bang] It's 29 degrees shooting factory 140ELDM. Haven't read the whole thread but looks like I need a 19lbs spring. This is...

I'm no expert nor do I own land out there, but between my uncle with a house on the SD side of the lake and relatives with property on the MN side, I'd buy/live in SD. Less taxes (it sounds)...
