    You're the first I've read to suggest an AI chassis felt "cheap". Heavy maybe, and the ergos not to your liking, but everything on an AI is purpose built and made to function in the worst of conditions with top quality design, machining, materials, and finishes.

    You only need the bolt with the .484" (.308) boltface bushed, the magnum and .338 LM cartridges are large primer only. Also, the grip on an AI is huge and some may not like it. It's not much of an issue for me, but worth mentioning when considering what could potentially be a $10k commitment...

    I bought both of my ZP5s from CS Tactical. I got a better discount on the first (MR2 reticle) than the 2nd (MR4 reticle) but the savings on the 2nd was still pretty substantial. Give a Hide vendor a call before you buy online. CS Tactical and CameraLand are 2 of my go to vendors.

    I've had one of these on my .22LR trainer since shortly after they hit the market. It's a nice scope for the money. My SFP reticle subtends properly at 11x, not the 10x Athlon told me when asked. I put a dot of white paint on the mag ring at 11x. Just sayin' is all.
