    New Sig CROSS

It amazes me that a person can be this wrong and so adamant. It's like the gerbil is running backwards. My rifles are made of pathetic, fragile steels. Your rifles must be made of diamond, because they're harder than sand. To clarify, what makes your bolt rifles immune to foreign junk that...

    New Sig CROSS

Aw, they scrapped the dust cover?! Heck. Bolt guns are lacking in this area. On a cold range, I have to leave the bolt open. I also leave it open to cool the barrel. Sucks to have to stop shooting and the bring the gun home for cleaning just because the wind blew. But you know, for every...

    Bush League From McMillan?

Some people might put their cheek there. Nothing more to it. Also, it is absolutely disgusting of you to come in here and post all this without a picture of the complete rifle. Shameful.

    Flinching ?

Does your 6.5 have a muzzle brake? If so, unscrew it and throw it into a volcano.

Official (DTA) SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Thread

It should be easy to do. If I can get a spare safety bar, I'll consider it. Was just wondering how many guys did it. Thanks. Edit: Oh. They are $125. Oh.

Official (DTA) SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Thread

How common is it for DT bolt gun owners to modify their safety bar to allow more creep elimination? There is a lot more creep in this trigger than any I've felt. It's got creep like an H&K 90 series rifle. It goes very light, though. I'll surely increase the pull weight. As for DT's comms...

Muzzle blast shield for 50 BMG, anybody?

It's a stock DT HTI, 29" barrel bullpup. I attempt to fire at the pause, but sometimes the trigger breaks at that last little bit of breathing out before the neutral pause. So "while holding".

Muzzle blast shield for 50 BMG, anybody?

I dealt with braked 338 until I got a can. At the range, it was bearable, but annoying. In the desert, you have to lay out a tarp. A can fixed it all. Until I can get a can on this 50, I need to figure something out. I'll try goggles and/or nose plugs and am fine with looking stupid. Right...

Muzzle blast shield for 50 BMG, anybody?

I started shooting a braked 50. I've been googling to see if anyone puts ear plugs in their nostrils and found this thread. Good to see the community will jump all over someone for pretty much anything. Like 12 year olds.

    Rifle Scopes Steiner owners - thinking about a Steiner T5Xi . . . .

For the record, I trashed Steiner because they made a bad product and refused to fix it 4 times and lied about it. You can make excuses and mock me all you want, but Steiner is the only one at fault and they were outstandingly scummy about it. It was Grade A scumbag customer service. They...

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

You might have bought my SPR! If so, that's the original box of a different, identical rifle. The box is of my first one, but that rifle was my third one. I figured somebody would appreciate it more than me. As for the 300 WSM PBR I just got from a member here, extraction isn't great like...

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

For the record, when I tried CDI, it was CDI supplied bottom metal, stock, and fitment. It was all through them. I assume it was simply a fluke that it didn't work, but it wasn't handled well. With my SPRs, moving forward, I'll be sticking with OEM McMillans and the FN hardware. It works.

If I ever steal from you, you have my permission to tell people about it, even if I'm dead.

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

I got my first SPR cut for AICS mags and used PTG bottom metal. I have tried AI, Accurate Mag, and Magpul. They work, but poorly, and the rifle is a push feed with them, so chambering isn't smooth and great like an SPR should be. Oh, and I tried one of those short ARC 10 rounders, too. It...

Yeah, man. Please find a few hundred .45-70 in your sock drawer. I made two bad decisions lately and they're both beautiful and chambered in .45-70.

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

I used the 300 WSM PBR today. The action is fantastic and the cartridge is fun. I had my RPR with me, which has grown on me greatly. I love the RPR. But it is trash compared to the SPR and PBR.

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

My first modern* bolt gun was an SPR. I've now owned 20+ bolt guns. Each time I shoot an SPR, I remember all the reasons I like them best. I've shot a dozen customs and none are as good in my opinion. I've had terrible luck with guns, gun parts, reloading bits, etc. I really lucked out on...

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

I didn't know if I was allowed to, but yeh it's on there. I consider that price "cheap" considering I paid 1200 for mine.

I put one of mine up for sale on a commonly used website for selling guns and listed it pretty cheap.
