    My recommendation is to get a quality 22LR to learn the fundamentals as well as not brake the bank on ammo cost. The 22LR has a relatively long barrel time requiring you to follow through on each shot. You can also shoot out t 200 yards and learn wind.

    If the bolt face is correct for 308 I would base the bulid on it. I would also have the locking lugs lapped correctly to the action.

    Army M24 Build Thread

    For those that have bought the EuroOptics M24, what trigger pull weight are you experiencing? Mine must be close to 4 pounds and makes accuracy hard to accomplish. So far I have been able to shoot under some 1/2 MOA but I think the gun is capable of better with a lighter trigger pull.

    I have a Shillen on my V22 and another shooter at our range has the Vudoo barrel. I can see no dipfference on target performance. Vudoo makes a great barrel. But I'm getting the shilen ratch barrel on my VSS just because.................

    The Barrett is a 3 MOA gun. Unless you are going into battle and need a semi-auto gun, a bolt action gun is a better choice for accuracy. As an example my Armalite AR-50 is a .5 MOA gun with my reloaded ammo using the Hornady bullets. Also the cost of a bolt gun is MUCH less.

    I have three of the PST Gen 2 5x25 scopes, one FFP and two SFP and have nothing but wonderful experiences with them. Been using one of them for over a year and absolutely love it. Especially the 25 MOA turret and perfect tracking.
