    My error, what I meant to say is that 22LR wind drift at 200 yards is similar to CF at 500 yards.

    Rather that the enblem on the action, I suggest having the word VUDOO put under the gel coat along the sides of the forearm. More visually impressive and a better ID of the rifle.

    What distances are you shooting your CF rifle? It makes a difference when using a RF to train for CF competition. I have heard that wind drift for a 22LR is similar to CF at 500 yards.

    I shoot a lot of Club level BR matches and a few state level matches (both CF and RF) and I think the triggers need to be in the 4 ounce range. But it would be nice to have the trigger adjustable for different shooters preferences.

    I have got to ask this: Why do you feel the need to carry all that stuff to the range? Me its the gun,ammo and forend rest and rear bag then a very few tools such as a a small wrench for the scope rings (to help others that might need this) and hearing protection. We are not going to "war"...

    I use a Dillon range bag for CF and a Walmart fishing lure box for RF. I normally shoot within 50 feet of my SUV and leave everything else there.

    Personally I have given up on any Ruger rifle, RF or CF, as the quality is sub par. Buy a CZ or a Tikka and you will be much better served.
