    I shot one of these at the NRA World Shooting Championships a few years ago (they were the provided rifle for the PRS stage). I had a first round hit at 750 yds having never shot that rifle (or PRS) before.

    Sadly, no. I haven't had time since I got it and I the range I just joined shut down a week after the covid-19. I installed the ShootingSight trigger kit and it makes a huge difference. The ETA on delivery of the 552 has been pushed back, was supposed to be June/July, but JDI doesn't know now.

    How much $ down for custom/ bolt rifle?

    When ordering anything that has to be made-to-order that is not in stock, never give more than a 50% deposit, with the balance immediately prior to shipping. If they require more than 50% then it is more than likely they are undercapitalized and using deposits to finance other customer's work...
