V Node Testing : First try

I had a similar test with a 6.5 creedmoor on my first node test. After reading a thread or two on here about node testingt I had a repeat at a longer distance 400 yards was my maximum range close to home. It turns out the velocity numbers alone do not show the node as well as the grouping on...

Looks delicious I’m always a sucker for barrel strength or single barrels for some reason.

Advanced Marksmanship Popped my Sniper's Hide Dot Drill Cherry

Lol, I know that feeling. Raise up off the gun look around, did I do that? By the looks of the fourth and fifth shot you focused and got back in the game.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Best O/U for clay shooting for high school daughter

Only negative is no beer on a clays course. For me that’s 75% of the game of golf............ For the OP, Franchi 20ga automatics are great and they have youth models as well as being affordable Benelli’s that are made in Italy and imported. My wife has four sisters and all five of them shoot...

Rifle Scopes Scope for a 300 Rum

Curious about the responses you get. I too have a 300 RUM but it’s still factory and my next project. I went with a local Smith’s recommendation on a scope after having him thread the barrel for a break. He recommended a Sightron SIII to sum it up it holds zero but parallax has to be adjusted...

    Shooting mat recommendations

+1 on the Midway Pro Comp mat. A little bulky but lots of pad and the water resistant bottom material is easy to wipe or dust off.

If you could only shoot factory ammo what caliber would you pick today for LRP?

I am with the 6.5 Creedmoor crowd. Im new to the long range game as well. I got my 308 first and loved it, it’s a factory Sako rifle. I then decided to get deeper into the long range world. Had the what caliber to build search for a month and settled on the creedmoor, because I don’t have to...

    Range Report Caliber Matrix Video

Meant to post. That matrix would be awesome for a presentation at Precision Rifle Expo type event. I went this year and sat in the class I believe it was called “What is Long range shooting “. Trinity Brown gave the presentation. He was trying to get people to look at there individual situation...
