    Seekins HAVAK Precision Rifle

    I have a Havak in a 6.5 PRC. I am very pleased with it. Sub ½ MOA with both the 143 ELDX ammo and the 147 ELD-M ammo. Action has gotten considerably smoother with minimal use. I think it is a tremendous value. I have far more expensive custom guns. Makes me question their value a little.

    Range Report Higher BC .277 bullets

    I'm getting 3100 fps with Re 26 and 170 Berger EOL Hybrid. Shoots as flat as anything I own except maybe 28 Nosler.

    I know there are separate threads on nitriding barrels. I am looking at doing a 264 WM currently. If I wanted to nitride, I recall it is generally recommended to break-in to be sure it shoots, nitride, clean the hell out of it, then shoot away. Correct? What barrels would you not recommend...
