    Thanks. After reading all the threads regarding PVA I decided the risk was too high. I'm leaning toward one of the LRI barreled actions with the ARC Mausingfield action. Sounds like LRI turns things around in good time, and I've never seen a bad review of them anywhere.

    Anyone have a recent order/delivery of a Mausingfield? The Web site says 2-4 months, just wondering if that is close to actual shipping times. Kind of want to get all the bits close to the same time.

    Mine came this afternoon. Got it working on a win 10 laptop in a few minutes and scoped my 65CM. Seems to work really well. I don't have time to write a really long review, I need to go order a gallon of everything Bore Tech makes, a case of brushes and a couple of boxes of patches.

    Hearing Protection. Need advice

    Defenders fitted plugs with amplifiers. They attenuate the shots really well, and the amplifiers allow for normal conversation. I have a hearing loss and they aren't as loud as I would like, but if you have normal hearing they should work great

    Updating firmware on Kestrel 5700

    I haven't been able to find an answer for this. Does the 5700 with Link (not Elite ) need either the cable or dongle to update firmware? Or can it be updated thru a computer with Bluetooth, or a phone? I'm seriously considering ordering one, and will order the dongle if it is needed...

    It has to do with the sales tax laws in CA. Apparently they are so budensome that CE declines to ship there. I think 419 can help you, but i'm not sure. I got my set from CE with no problem, but I live in the somewhat free state of Georgia.
