    Last year they announced a mil/mil version of the H6Xi 2-12. They didn’t actually put it on the streets until about August and with a repackaged reticle that doesn’t really fit a 2-12x. Now those scopes are marked down 25-30% everywhere. So let’s hope they’ve gone back to the drawing board on...

    I’ve seen reports of a 500m shot on Fox News and people saying 100 feet on Twitter. It measures 540 feet give or take 10 feet or so. Very surprised the SS didn’t see him and take him out sooner.

    It’s kind of the point of Snipers Hide, to discuss stuff related to shooting and compare notes. Sure, it’s normal for people to WANT the perfect scope, but the bottom line is most of us come here to help decide which scope we want to spend our own money on.

    Chicom options - Athlon 2-12x, Swampfox 2-12x, 2-10x, Freeworld options - Leup MK4 2.5-10x, MK5 2-10x. Starting to believe all 5 of these are better than the Steiner depending on your budget.
