Yep, the good Ole days...I'm 100 miles from a base and they used to auction it off by the semi truck load. Fortunately, local law enforcement uses allot of it in their M4s so I now get it that way.- MTRecon

There are a number of places that sell processed LC if you search for it. Last time I checked they were all out of stock. Also, LC isn't as plentiful now that the military scraps their brass.- MTRecon

New barrel for target upper
The 69s and 75s work great in all 3 of my ARs. The RMRs work better for me than the SMKs do. Haven't tried any of the Hornady yet.- MTRecon

New barrel for target upper
I went with a 26" WOA 1/8 twist and actually wanted a bit longer. Would probably go with 24" if the longer lengths weren't available. I shoot mostly 600 to 700 but sometimes out to 1,000. Using 75gr RMR with Tac at 556 power level seated at 2.250". Great performance.- MTRecon

What's the best performing 223 AR load/bullet if you had to choose one?
I chose the RMR 75 BTHP based on testing in my 16", 20" and 26" barrels. 1/7 except the 26" which is 1/8. 2nd choice would be the RMR 69 BTHP.- MTRecon

7.62 brass with "1K" headstamp
Seeing lots of 7.62x51 brass at the range with a 1K headstamp but searchs for the maker showed nothing. Anyone know about this headstamp?- MTRecon
