    AR15 6 ARC barrel issues

I would contact them and see if they will cover it under warranty. Read their warranty and any modifications would void the coverage.

    Staball Match

Curious about Staball in 223/556 with 75gr BTHP. Went to Hodgdons website load data today and found it interesting. Starting load had beat my max Tac load by 205 fps. Never seen an error on Hodgdons load data before.

Anyone Hear About This Involving FRT's?

Saw this video...the guys vest says "Police" not ATF. I couldn't really see any sidearms...maybe she has something on her side...no warrant or paperwork...hmmm...

Good solvents and cleaning procedure for ar15’s?

KG-1 for carbon removal and KG-12 for copper removal. For certain situations Kroil penetrating oil followed by JB Bore Paste.

Looking for known accurate 223 loads

WOA builds my AR uppers. This is load info for 69 and 80 SMKs he included in the box and was posted on the WOA website. I don't know what group size he gets with these but maybe worth trying.

Looking for known accurate 223 loads

Nato or 556 is higher pressure and velocities... This is 223 Tac data from Western Powders... This is the Tac Nato or 556 data...

Looking for known accurate 223 loads

I've had good results with BLC2 and Tac using 69 and 75 BTHPs from RMR. With Tac there is both 223 and Nato 556 load data available. For the 300 to 700 yard distances I use the Nato loads. The 69 and 75 definitely do better than the 55s both in the wind and long distance.

Do you guys inside/outside chamfer your fired brass even if not sizing?

I trim or at least check length to my variance every cycle. I debur the flash hole from the inside only once. I chamfer inside and out and uniform the primer pocket every cycle.

do i need to turn necks

A friend is replacing his McGowan barrel with a Lilja this week. Velocity just wasn't there and there was some other issues with it according to his gunsmith. I've shot lots of 55s in my 22-250 but once I tried 40gr Ballistic Tips and saw the truly medieval carnage on gophers I've stayed with...

Case Prep: What are you using?

For 223 I use the Giraud bench model for trimming in addition to a RCBS hand crank trimmer. For primer pockets and flash holes I use carbide uniforming tools I got from Sinclair years ago. I also have a roll sizer I use for 9mm and 45 ACP and decided to get the 223 conversion. I noticed...

    White oak armament accuracy

My WOA Wilson 26" Varmint complete upper still shoots good after 6,200+ rounds if used with the right bullet and load. It never did shoot 55s very well. It shines with 69, 75 and 80. It likes BLC2, Tac and 8208 XBR. Testing the new RMR 75gr at 200 yards last week with Tac I did find one sweet...

StaBall Match Testing - 77gr Reloads, Chasing mk262

No, but I was expecting to see some well before the max load...probably won't stay at max but was curious to see what Labradar would show...

StaBall Match Testing - 77gr Reloads, Chasing mk262

Western Powders published load data claims 62,145. Used the softer 7 1/2 instead of mag primers to watch for any signs of pressure during work up but none in two different barrels. The Labradar stats were read at the muzzle...my other chronographs set @ 15 feet would reduce the velocity...

StaBall Match Testing - 77gr Reloads, Chasing mk262

Trying for a MK262 style load I worked up to this yesterday with my Aero Precision 16". Don't have 77s so I used 75gr RMR, LC 2021 OFB, Rem 7 1/2 and 25.8 of Tac. I have 8208XBR but haven't tested it yet. No optics on the Aero so no way to get groups at a meaningful distance. I did work up...

    WOA barrel question

I have the WOA 26" Varmint upper. I like the extra weight and accuracy. Most of my shooting is 300 to 600 yards but have gone out to 1,000 with it. About 6,000 rounds total so far. I load at Nato levels for the longer distances. Using 62, 69 and 80 grain.

    Roll Sizing in Middle Tennessee

A number of ranges are buying roll sizers for their members to use. Maybe check around. The bulged brass I see comes from generous chambers like my old 5906, Glocks, etc and no die could correct it so I went with a roll sizer. As long as I used that brass in the 5906 everything was OK but it...
