    Precision Rifles.....show em!!

26” Bartlein 6.5x47. Plan to use 42.0-42.5 of H4350 with 123 ELDM’s and 40-ish of H4350 with the 140’s. Also have some Shooters World Long Rifle to experiment with since I had good results with the Precision Rifle when Varget was tough to find. Edit: 42-42.5 for 123’s

    16-18 inch shorty rifles

Just messing around with an Impact MTU 18” 223 combo in the HNT26 while I’m waiting for the 20” Bartlein CF 6.5x47 barrel for my Bighorn to arrive. It’s “heavy” at around 13.5 lbs but the CF barrel and lighter TL3 should bring it down closer to 10 lbs, which was my goal for a crossover rifle.

    Should I run a 6mm GB?

In for a 6GT for an Impact or TL3

Rifle Scopes Steiner T6Xi 3-18x56 Review and comparison with NF ATACR 4-16x42, S&B US 3-20x50 and March 4.5-28x52

Agreed. A tighter eyebox, or a less forgiving eyebox, however you want to word it, doesn’t mean it’s not enjoyable to use. And it may or may not be noticeable if you just shoot from static positions like a bench. It’s just one metric to compare of many that round out a scope. But I would always...

Rifle Scopes Steiner T6Xi 3-18x56 Review and comparison with NF ATACR 4-16x42, S&B US 3-20x50 and March 4.5-28x52

I have the T6Xi 3-18x56 and a friend has the NX8 2.5-20. I really like his scope, the eye box was much more usable than what i was expecting after reading on here about how tight it was. The reticle thickness was also suitable for the mag range. I think it might be a better scope for the...

Suppressors TBAC CB2HUB vs Energetic Armory CB2HUB

My EA adapters do not thread fully flush onto the cone of my TBAC CB’s, but my TBAC adapter does. Never had a baffle strike but I will only use the TBAC brand going forward.

    Steiner H6xi

I have only used mine in the southeast. The background here varies from dark green rhododendron and mountain laurel to open pastures to grey and brown hardwood forests. I have no trouble picking up the green illumination. It also doesn’t seem to bleed out or “obstruct” the target as much as a...

    Steiner H6xi

The illumination is more than sufficient for dark timber. It’s only lacking in bright light on low magnification. The center-only illumination of the MSR2 is perfect for hunting, but a SFP reticle will be easier to pick up on the lowest settings in point-and-shoot situations. Gotta take the good...

    HNT 26 arca rail

Installed an R-Lock rail over the built-in one. This came from Sawtooth Rifles and is made for the HNT26. Locks up tight on the tripod and will act as a sacrificial rail.

Rifle Scopes Zeiss LRP S3 New First Focal Plane Riflescopes for Long-Range Precision Shooting

Agreed. The Zeiss turrets are so easy to dial. I wish the T6Xi turrets were just a bit taller for gloved use.

    Steiner T6xi

I understand being upset but I would give them a chance to fix it before bashing them. Things happen, you just got unlucky. My 3-18 T6Xi has a small amount of CA but only when off center, and it has a lot of things going for it, most notably the forgiving eye box, field of view, and depth of...

Weigh in on my next coyote rifle build

Sounds like a mid-length carbon fiber barrel in any flavor of 22 centerfire with an HNT26 would be ideal. That’s what I am working on anyway. TL3 and a couple of prefits and you have a versatile setup.

    Suppressors Form 4 wait time

Better than my Silencer Shop notification. They notified me that they made a mistake and I lost nine months of waiting.

    Which action in 2024?

I have a TL3 and one of my friends has an Origin. The TL3 is definitely the smoother action. Not sure if it’s because mine is 5 years old and his is relatively new and not broken in, but the difference is noticeable. Have a 737 on the way from SPR, so curious as to how it runs compared to my TL3.

    Steiner T6Xi 3-18 Reticle

    No argument there.

    Steiner T6Xi 3-18 Reticle

I haven’t. I have grown to prefer a cleaner reticle, sometimes I miss my old P4. The MSR2 just gives me that little bit more info while still being clean.

    Steiner T6Xi 3-18 Reticle

MSR2 has become my favorite reticle, but on 3x it is very faint.
