Legal shooting time is questionable around here 😝 I wish I could see my MSR2 on 3x on my T6Xi when I hunt, especially early or late. It all but disappears against the forest backdrop. But thank goodness the illumination goes very dim which makes it usable. It’s probably the second best thing...
I can’t even remember what this thread was about. But I have had two scopes that when you needed a small amount of illumination at the very end of shooting light just to see the reticle, the lowest setting would blow out the image and ruin my night vision.
If your gonna be dumb, ya gotta be tough 🤷♂️
You do you. Protecting hearing now due to not protecting it in the past is not about being weak or fragile, or out of shape lol. It’s about being smart.
Specially, how is the eyebox tightness? Any noticeable CA? Any weird distortions on minimum power? I imagine the clarity and resolution to be good enough.
I would change a few things up on it myself. But I have no trouble splitting the half mil hashes in half (into quarters) outside of the 1 mil area. I think the rationale was to not deviate too far from the original MSR, meaning to keep it fairly simple. Wouldn’t be surprised to see an MSR3 down...
Old comment I know, but I have returned my 6-36 and am seriously considering going back to the 5-25 now that they are offering them with the DTII + turrets and MSR2 reticle. From memory, my old 5-25 had a more forgiving eye box, a more immersive sight picture, and smoother/easier to use parallax...
Just a suggestion... If you haven’t already, get a good tripod and start shooting off it in the sitting position instead of shooting prone. It’s more comfortable for your neck and it will solve your glasses issue while shooting.
