    I would imagine that to get the best out it, you would need a long action. But then other options open up. Thought about getting a barrel chambered for one myself a few times but never have, the 308 just works so well inside of a couple hundred yards.

    Precision Rifles.....show em!!

    Barrel #1 arrived in the mail yesterday. 20” Bart CF 6.5x47, my first attempt at a crossover rifle. 12 pounds with can, nearly half the weight of my 26” 6.5x47, and so much easier to move around with. Barrel #2 should arrive soon, a 22” Bart #4 bull spiral fluted 22 GT.

    PRS Talk Full size or compact can for PRS?

    I have grown to appreciate my R30K on my “comp” rifle. Very short can, quick recoil impulse, not great suppression but who cares when you’re wearing ear pro. Definitely cuts down the concussion though. If I didn’t have one already I would get a Biscuit.

    True daylight bright center dots, or center crosses (like the MSR2 has) would negate the need for a thicker reticle for low magnification use.

    I really enjoy my T6Xi. It’s a good crossover scope, even if it’s on the heavy side for hunting. But the field of view is great, the locking turrets are nice to have, and it’s easy to stay on the scope for extended periods of time.

    I like shooting my R30K as well. Recoil is a bit shorter duration, less decibel reduction is not a issue because I still wear ear pro.

    Yeah that is what is driving me to get another can now. I have a Hydrogen L and KGM R30 stuck in trust jail, hoping another can purchase (that is a little shorter and in 6.5 bore size) will help bump these two out quicker. Let me know how you like that Lux.
