    Oops! I trim my brass using a Lee hand tool. Can't use my Lee tool with Lapua 308 Palma SRP brass, the pin is too large, I would assume this would be a problem with all other SRP Lapua brass.     Calipers

    The Mitutoyo calipes come in 0-6" and 0-8" size. Is there a reason to get the larger one? I shoot up to 338 WinMag. Would the larger be needed for 300NormaMag, 338 Lapua> I have no desire ever to load 50 cal!

    Mine reaches max (infinity) at 400yds. Checked it three times. Rechecked torque on Spuhr mounts 3 times. Definitely not right. Starting process of sending it back. New production glitch I suspect given the number of folks with same problem. Bummer.

    Thanks! Looking at pics on the net that was the idea I was getting.I have been using Canadian made Alberta Tactical Rifle Supply rings before ( 2 screws per ring) on my big scope rifles and been quite happy with them. Bought the Spuhr on a whim.

    Looking at my SPUHR mount, my first. The upper rings are different, one marked A-40 and A-41. They are different the A-42 has 4 extra holes. I assume these are for attaching things to the mount. Does that ring go in the front or the back? Rationale for placement. Thanks!

    Yes it is f'n expensive even in Canuck bucks. I am a fairly tightwad oldster but no buyer's remorse other than I wish it had been out when I bought my second Kahles :D, The glass assessment is by a set of 70 year old eyes , your results may vary.
