    That's what it seems to be, I seated same bullets in sized cases without powder, no ring. Oh well, if it shoots well, I'll live with it otherwise maybe seat longer and single load till I figure something else out.

    Yes my powder load is compressed. So will the special seating stem be the fix? Off maybe just live with it ??

    Shooting my Tikka tac 223 is like eating peanuts ( or for me , cashews) you just have to shoot it. No recoil, quiet, cheap and the wind gives you great excuses for piss poor shooting:D
