    WTS-Rock Creek 1:7 .224 M24

Howdy all. I have a Rock Creek M24 1:7 .224 5R to finish at 28" I'd love to sell. I purchased this from Rock Creek and had them leave a couple of extra inches which added to the cost. These normally finish at 26" I paid $300 +$40 ($20 per addl inch) +$20 shipping I'm asking $340 shipped. Save...

F T/R Competition AICS Bag Rider

Give Europtic a call. They might have a suggestion. As you noted, it's probably not the best stock for FT/R. It'll work but you will for sure hamper your scores. I'm in kind of the same boat, I have an A3/5 and the butthook is driving me bananas. I'm currently shopping stocks/chassis...

Gunsmithing Best Brand For Headspace Gauges

I have ordered 2 reamers from JGS. On the last one, I had them include a headspace gauge. I did the barrel, and when I checked my brass to the chamber I found out that the HS gauge was too short. So, I recut the chamber. I also called JGS and mentioned that there may be a mistake. Then I...

    F T/R Competition FT/R and 80SMK

So I shot my third FT/R last sunday and did 3 relays of 191 (at least I was consistent) for a score of 573/14x. I'm thrilled at my scores and shooting. The rifle has really come into it's own and I'm learning how to drive it better each match. The state championship is the next match and I...

Reading the “Indeed” reviews left me not shocked. Sad to see.

Less bullet in the case is more room for powder. More powder makes it all go faster with less pressure. However you would also want your throat cut to accommodate seating the bullets long. It's a whole "hand in hand" thing.

    Shorty 6.5: Creed or x47?

As per the OP, I'll be running the 123's 99% of the time.

    Shorty 6.5: Creed or x47?

I hadn’t as I’m gonna run the 123’s. The 8 should handle them just fine and at 17” I’ll get almost 2 complete turns.

    Shorty 6.5: Creed or x47?

So a little background. I'm learning to spin together my own rifles. I'm not very good at it but I'm giving it hell. I have an itch to build a short barreled (17") 6.5 rifle. It's gonna be a "cheap" rifle on a Remington 700 that I trued up and a Green Mountain barrel. Yes, yes. I know...

    Gunsmithing Pacific Tool and Gauge

I won't deal with them. Their shipping policies are enough to warrant a pass. It takes them a week or more to get an in stock item in the mail. To me, that's unacceptable. Yup, I'm spoiled. Amazon has warehouses in my backyard. I've ordered from JGS and gotten my reamer 2 days after...

    Sand Sock

I bought one for myself and a buddy and another buddy bought one as well from "Tater's Tactical" and I found them on Instagram. Great bag, fast turnaround, and reasonable price. Vet owned. Made in USA. Tell him the guy that bought the purple bag sent you.

Hey Greg. Thank you for that reply. I agree with you completely although I would question your choice of wording, ie: overkill. I don't think it's overkill per se. It's definitely a lot of bullet for a minimally sized case but the rifle seems to like it a bunch and as I'm learning to...
